A 1,700 square meter shooting range area with 21 shooting positions on three floors. Askola's new shooting range received help with its pre-marketing from visualization images.

When the foundation has a more special and unfamiliar concept, but at the same time one that targets all kinds of enthusiasts and experimenters, from those who are bored at work to those looking for new experiences, good visualization images and a video made from them are an excellent aid for important pre-marketing.

Visu24 implemented a 3D video solution for a shooting range that was still in the planning stage, showing prospective visitors the route through the premises from the reception, through the course room, to the recreational shooting range. The visualization was intended to illustrate the functionality, safety, and experience of the premises.

The collaboration between Visu24 and Rata Academy from Askola began at the recommendation of the advertising agency used by Rata Academy, and the work was carried out entirely remotely. The advertising agency had a clear vision of what would be good to include in the video, and the advertising agency, Rata Academy and the Visu team were all satisfied with the end result.

• We only had basic images and verbally explained what we were doing and what we wanted in the video. The images used were stills that were combined into an animated video, says Rata Academy.

The final video was edited into two different lengths. The longer version is intended for professionals and experts who already know the rules of the game. The shorter half-minute clip serves as a marketing tool for potential new enthusiasts, who want to communicate the versatility of the sport and emphasize the bright spaces and the "non-bunker-like", open atmosphere of the course.

Rata Academy had a fairly tight schedule for photos and video, but it didn't faze the visual people. The verbal instructions required a few rounds of editing the photos, but the work progressed systematically, flexibly, and within the given schedule.

• Finally, the brand colors were refined and some minor adjustments were made. These also took time, but the end result was good, and the video can now be seen on Rata Academy’s website. We are satisfied, and it was important to us that our ideas and vision were made visible. The video has also received praise from everyone who has seen it. We believe that our potential customers have gained a good idea of what is to come, says Rata Academy

At the Rata Academy in Askola, you can try shooting safely and under supervision, such as in familiarization shooting, practicing with your own gun or a gun rented from Rata Academy on either 25 and 50 meter ranges, and developing your skills with various courses and training.
