The images illustrated how the investment would look from different directions. Especially in the case of exceptionally large and impressive buildings, the importance of visualization images is emphasized and images play an important role in how projects are perceived.

Etula says that a district heating battery is practically a large water tank, the water of which is heated by new electric boilers. The giant towers are like huge thermoses that are charged, especially when charging is economical and the price of electricity is cheap.

“So hot water is stored in the battery, which is distributed to the district heating network,” Etula explains, noting that the industry is undergoing a transformation due to ever-tightening emission regulations and fuel price developments.

Alajärven Lämmö has a 33.9 km district heating distribution network and 330 properties connected to the network. The company is a subsidiary of the Alajärven Kaupunki Group.
